Day 7

Emily:
Wow what a fun-filled day! We started at 6.30am, were out of the hotel by 7.30am and in the city of London after two buses and a tube ride. We bought a open pass for the tourist buses which included a free ferry ride and 3 walking tours. We ended up in the London Dungeons, Pizza Hut for a sit down lunch (the best I've ever had), and a ferry ride up the Thames. I had such an informative day today, I learned so many things - one of which, Big Ben isn't what you see but the bell inside the tower; St Pauls is exactly 365 feet tall one foot for every day of the year; and the Australian Embassy was the "Gringott's Bank" in Harry Potter.
We're back at the hotel early so we can have a good night's sleep because we're picking up Rhys at 6.30am in the morning.

Glenn:
Yes 6:30 was our kick off, wasn't a problem as I'm still waking early. After having a briefing prior to leaving it was decided that we were going on the open top bus tours and the London Dungeon, and my choice was to choose something on the bus trip as i didn't want to go too far out of the way as time was a limiting factor. Bus top tours was great and I learnt a lot of historical trivia. The most heart stopping moment for me was when i was in the London Dungeon at the "Jack the Ripper" section and I unwittingly was situated in the victim's spot and had the living daylights scared out of me. Much to the delight of Peter, Emily and about 20 others as well. I decided that I wanted to go to the Houses of Parliament but we simply ran out of time. It will have to wait till next time. Have been having thoughts of Rhys joining us all day, think I'm excited about him arriving. Till tomorrow.

Peter:
today we went on a tube into london. then we went on a bus around the city and to the london dungeons. in the london dungeon we walked around and listened to stories. in one room glenn crapped himself :) and on the drop we got a photo and we had funny faces. then we left and had lunch. then we went on another bus. then we went on a cruise. then we went to the motel.
