Day 3

Emily's Day 3:

Saying goodbye to Aberfan, Wales and leaving James and Abbey was a little sad. Driving to Manchester allowed me to have a power nap in the car while Glenn drove!

Had an enjoyable resting afternoon with Auntie Anita, catching up. When school was up Josephine, Maria, Martin, Sean and Lyndsey came over with their children and we had a fabulous time talking about old times, childhood antics and "flirting" (don't know who that was though?)

Anita cooked a fantastic indian meal for us all with chocolate eclairs for dessert (yum).

Time for more chatting and then Peter decided to go home with Josephine and her three little ones. Our first evening on our own.!

Glenn's day 3

Suffering with a little jet lag, my eyes were open in an instant at 3:50pm and stayed open till about 6:00am. Completely exhausted at the moment, nodding off whilst writing this blog. The drive up to Manchester was good. Meeting Emily's family and chatting has been good.
